80% of all Germans need at least once in a life blood or blood plasma medicine. You probably enclosed. But the supply becomes even more difficult. Therefore we ask you, convince also your relatives and friends, that blood donation is essential.

• Important medicines are made of blood plasma. They are vitally necessary for thousands of humans. Often without units of stored blood operations are impossible. 

• In your body five litres blood flow: more than enough. You can donate 450 ml of it without any risk. An infection is by the way impossible. We use exclusive one-way material. Thus you help us in less than 60 minutes to save a human life. 

• Aachener donate for Aachener: the blood you donate is used in Aachen. A less part of your blood is needed for the medicine production. We do not want to earn a cent at your blood. 

• Nearly everyone can be blood donor. The conditions: you are healthy, between 18 and 65 years and your weight is at least 50kg. A wife can donate 4 times a year, a man 6 times. Blood donation is voluntary and free of charge. Starting from the second donation you receive an expense allowance. 

• As a permanent donor you are well supplied. We examine your blood thoroughly and recognise problems early.
