The Central Ethics Commission for Stem Cell Research (ZES) of the Federal Republic of Germany appoints Univ.-Prof. Dr. Lampert as a member

At the beginning of December, Prof. Dr. Lampert was appointed by the Federal Government of the Federal Republic of Germany to the ZES, which reviews research proposals from scientists in Germany who wish to conduct work under the Stem Cell Act (StZG). Especially when it comes to the use of human embryonic stem cells, very precise criteria apply, according to which these research projects are approved. In this significant field, the commission makes a crucial contribution to the ethical evaluation of research proposals.  

Prof. Dr. Lampert will be a member of this commission for the duration of the eighth term of office until 2026.
