Jan Clusmann receives the Best thesis Award of the German Physiological Society

Today, our former MD student, Jan Clusmann (on the left), received the Dissertation Award of the German Physiological Society (DPG) for his medical thesis. He received the award at the annual meeting of the DPG in Berlin from Prof. Wolfgang Linke (Münster). The prize was awarded for his thesis entitled „Acid-sensing ion channel 1a induces cell death in glioblastoma stem cells via RIPK1“, the main results of which were published in 2022 with him as first author in Cell Death & Disease.
