GLOBAL WALK AGAINST PAIN Aachen Edition

Together against chronic pain

On August 29, we are stepping out in Aachen - join us.

Why this matters

1 in 5 people worldwide lives with chronic pain - often invisible. With the GLOBAL WALK AGAINST PAIN, we raise awareness for this condition.

Join with family, friends, colleagues, and neighbors - and take a stand together to increase awareness for people living with chronic pain.

This free event is open to all fitness levels and will take place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, rain or shine, at the Dreiländereck in Aachen.

Our idea

A global movement.

The GLOBAL WALK AGAINST PAIN is an international initiative bringing together pain research centers worldwide to make chronic pain more visible.

At multiple locations around the world, local walking events take place simultaneously. Participants walk lap after lap along a defined route, and each location records the total distance covered. These results are combined into a global total distance and displayed on walkagainstpain.org.

This creates a shared global story: “Across x countries, x participants walked a total of x km to raise awareness about chronic pain.”

Together, we aim to walk thousands of kilometers - whether you walk 1 km or 40 km, every step moves us forward. Join us on August 29 - we look forward to seeing you!
