DPG names publication by the Institute of Physiology as ‘Paper of the Month’
The German Physiological Society has named a recent publication by the Institute of Physiology at RWTH Aachen University Hospital as ‘Paper of the Month’ for September 2025. The paper was recently published in the journal Science Advances.
The German Physiological Society (DPG) has named the publication entitled
‘The secreted protein PCYOX1L controls the surface expression of acid-sensing ion channel 1a.’ as ‘Paper of the Month’ for September 2025. The award recognizes the scientific relevance and quality of the work. Several authors were involved in the publication. Special mention should be made of Sven Kuspiel, who made a significant contribution to the study as first author.
