Worldwide Sodium Channel Seminars Return for 2026-2027

The Worldwide Sodium Channel Seminars are returning for a new season of exciting online lectures held by worldwide renown speakers! We are continuing the successful series now for the 4th time, and we look forward to stimulating discussions, fruitful interactions and new ideas while exchanging the latest data on voltage-gated sodium channels from structure to clinics.

This time, each speaker will be introduced by a member of the Scientific Committee; many of whom helped shape the scientific program of the 2026 Grindelwald Meeting.

Kicking off the 2026-2027 seminar series on 3 November 2026 at 16:00 (CET), Samantha Salvage (London, UK) will present “Targeting the cardiac sodium channel and its alternatively spliced variants with fragment antibodies” chaired by Jean-Sébastien Rougier (Bern, CH), the seminar promises to set the stage for another year of exciting discoveries in sodium channel research.

A particular highlight of the upcoming program will be a special session on 1 December 2026, entitled "Are Sodium Channels Druggable for Pain?" chaired by Raj Khanna (Florida, USA). This discussion will bring together perspectives from academia and industry to explore both the opportunities and challenges surrounding sodium channel-targeted pain therapies.
