International ASIC 2025 conference successfully held

From 29 September to 1 October 2025, the first international scientific meeting on acid-sensing ion channels took place in Tutzing on Lake Starnberg. The event was organised by Prof. Stefan Gründer, Director of the Institute of Physiology at RWTH Aachen University Hospital, and Prof. Stephan Kellenberger from the University of Lausanne.

The first international scientific meeting on acid-sensing ion channels, ASIC 2025 for short, was held from 29 September to 1 October 2025 in Tutzing on Lake Starnberg. The event was organised by Prof. Gründer and Prof. Kellenberger.

A total of 61 scientists from 10 countries and 4 continents took part. The programme included specialist lectures, poster presentations and discussion panels. The international participation and constructive atmosphere contributed to the success of the meeting.
