WP 2.3 Animal model causality testing: Antibodies as hunger and satiety peptide carriers, brain passage and effect on dopamine release

Objective: To determine whether plasmatic antibodies may transport the hormones ghrelin and alpha-MSH to the brain across the blood-brain-barrier resulting in the activation of dopamine neurons involved in the control of appetite and whether this function of antibodies is altered in patients with AN.
