Catharina Maiers receives the Friedrich Wilhelm Award of RWTH Aachen University

Today, our former MD student, Catharina Maiers (née Reimers), received the Friedrich Wilhelm Award of RWTH Aachen University. The Friedrich Wilhelm Award is awarded by the foundation of the same name to outstanding graduates of RWTH Aachen University. The name of the foundation, which also created the basis for RWTH Aachen University, refers to the Prussian crown prince and later Emperor Friedrich Wilhelm III. Catharina Maiers received the award for her thesis entitled „Identification of a cono-RFamide from the venom of Conus textile that targets ASIC3 and enhances muscle pain“, which was already published in 2017 in PNAS with her as first author.

Congratulations!
