Lab for Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience

Welcome to the website of the Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience Group (Head: Junior Research Group Leader Dr. Marisa Nordt).
Our team investigates various aspects of brain development, with a focus on brain regions involved in visual perception. For example, we are interested in the neural processes that occur when we recognize faces or gestures, or when we distinguish between written words and letters while reading. In addition, we study how the brain changes as a result of experience.
