In this practical hands-on workshop, participants will compare two innovative training models used in experimental transplantation surgery: modern 3D-printed silicone model and an ex vivo chicken thigh model. Both platforms provide realistic conditions for learning and refining microsurgical vascular anastomosis techniques. 

The workshop combines introductory lectures, live demonstrations, and intensive practical training sessions at both workstations. Through a unique crossover format, all participants will work with both models, allowing them to directly compare their respective advantages and limitations. 

This workshop is intended for researchers, surgeons, early-career scientists, and technical staff working in experimental surgery and transplantation research. It is particularly suitable for participants with basic microsurgical experience and interest in modern 3R-compliant training approaches.
