We warmly welcome you to Interdisciplinary Endoscopy at Uniklinik RWTH Aachen. As a joint facility of the Clinic for Gastroenterology, Metabolic Diseases and Medical Intensive Care (Medical Clinic III) and the Clinic for General, Visceral, Pediatric and Transplant Surgery, we combine our expertise on an interdisciplinary basis in order to offer you a very broad spectrum of state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic options. At the heart of our joint efforts is optimal patient care based on the newest available methods and standards. We treat patients in six modern, purpose-equipped rooms as well as on a mobile basis in the hospital's intensive care units or in the operating area. We use the newest high-end equipment from the manufacturers Olympus and Fujifilm, as well as modern applications employing artificial intelligence. We also stock nearly all disposable instruments from various manufacturers. This enables us to offer you endoscopic diagnostics and therapy in line with current clinical guidelines and the latest state of knowledge.
Following a recent renovation, we are pleased to be able to offer you the entire spectrum of our services (also available in English) in the field of endoscopy, in the outpatient, day-clinic ("Same-Day Interventions"), and inpatient setting.
We are also pleased to offer you an Intervention Consultation for complex endoscopic questions, for a second opinion, and/or for the planning of further diagnostics and therapy.

How to find us:
Control point B4, 3rd floor (between elevators B3 and B4). Enter through the main entrance and walk behind the escalator to elevator B3. Please check in at control point B4 on the 3rd floor approximately 15 minutes before your appointment.
After checking in, please proceed to Endoscopy registration (3rd floor, corridor 27; near elevator B3) and check in at the reception counter.
