Your family doctor (e.g. in internal medicine or general practice) or your community gastroenterology specialist is welcome to refer you to us. We can offer both long-term care and a second opinion or shared care.

Important: For your scheduled appointment, we ask you to bring the referral form and all findings obtained to date (physician letters, colonoscopy findings including histology, imaging (sonography, MRI, CT, etc.), lab values, and so on). Please also feel free to bring any CDs/DVDs with radiological or endoscopic images. It is also important to bring a list of all medications administered to date, and why a medication was changed (e.g. side effects or lack of efficacy). Only with the help of all this information, which you ideally prepare and organize in advance, can we give you and your previous treating physician our assessment.

We ask that you complete a questionnaire in the waiting area.

Please bring lab values from your family doctor. If new findings have become available in the meantime, please bring the corresponding report. If this was agreed at your last appointment, please bring a stool sample for calprotectin testing.

Please complete the questionnaire in the waiting area at every visit.
