Diagnostic examinations are performed on an outpatient basis for outpatients. For a growing number of therapeutic procedures, we also offer outpatient performance. If longer monitoring is required, a modern unit is available for monitoring during "Same-Day Interventions" (SDI), where follow-up monitoring takes place. You will be discharged home on the same day as the procedure, together with the available findings.

Planning of such procedures takes place via our intervention consultation, one of our outpatient clinics, or our ward.

  • Unless otherwise stated, please bring a referral for the planned procedure on the day of the procedure.
  • Please arrive fasting and register at the appointed time at control point B4, 3rd floor, with your health insurance card.
  • The intervention then takes place in our Sonography Department (corridor 27, 3rd floor).
  • After the intervention, our transport service will bring you on the examination bed to your room on our SDI corridor (corridor 8, 9th floor). Family members are welcome to be with you there.
  • After the monitoring period concludes, a physician will speak with you and you will be discharged home.
  • Since you must remain fasting for most interventions, it's advisable to bring snacks for afterward. Water and coffee are available in our corridor.
