In our consultation for complex endoscopic and sonographic questions, we plan and discuss an individual approach. Referring physicians may likewise present their patients for a second opinion or for a contrast-enhanced sonography. Patients may also present for a second opinion in our specialist consultation, after sending their prior findings to ambulanz-med3@ukaachen.de. More information can be found here.  

To optimize workflows and waiting times, we would be grateful if you would indicate the desired specialist examination (e.g. elastography/FibroScan or contrast-enhanced sonography) at registration. Should you, as a referring physician, wish for a specific statement or a telephone consultation, please feel free to note this on the referral form. For this purpose, it would also be helpful if you provided the patient with relevant prior findings and imaging (e.g. CDs/DVDs) as well as current lab values.
