As a supramaximal-care facility, we offer all standard ultrasound procedures for diagnosis and therapy (sonography of all abdominal organs, liver elastography, contrast-enhanced ultrasound of various organs), plus various interventional procedures such as liver biopsy, targeted puncture of lesions, or drainage of cysts or fluid collections.

Our department is equipped, both spatially and technically, to the most modern standard to ensure optimal patient care. Hygiene requirements meet the highest standards and comply with all specifications of the German professional society (DGVS) and the Infection Protection and Medical Devices Acts. We have state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

In addition to first-class equipment, our interdisciplinary ultrasound unit includes several physicians certified by the German Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (DEGUM). We are also a training center for bowel sonography of the International Bowel Ultrasound Group (IBUS). This allows us to offer our shared patients the full spectrum of state-of-the-art ultrasound technology.
